GOLDEN GLOBE STYLE

The fashion Olympics- AKA- Red Carpet Season, has officially begun!  With some of my fave women —Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, and Brie Larson, to name a few— this year’s Golden Globe Awards was a fantastic source of inspiration for non-traditional brides. Metallics and sequins reigned supreme, as well as vintage vibes in fringe-embellished gowns, and streamlined silhouettes. Here are some of our top picks!

GO FOR GOLD

Gold was a super popular hue last night. Among my faves was the swoon-worthy '70s-inspired, GOLD Calvin Klein gown worn by Brie Larson, and Rosie Huntington-Whitley in a soft gold Atelier Versace gown. For an & FOR LOVE look, try our BROOKLYN GOLD gown- perfect for a glam bride who doesn't want white.

FRINGE VIBES

The pale pink GIVENCHY gown worn by Cate Blanchett was EVERYTHING. Always one to make bold fashion statements, Cate always dresses for herself and never takes the boring route. And of course, our hearts stopped the moment we saw that FRINGE. For a similar bridal vibe with fringe benefits, try our ILSA and RYAN gowns.

WHITE OUT

Always a winner, white on the red carpet (or down the aisle), can never go wrong. To stay away from looking traditional, pick a gown that has clean lines and is fuss free. We loved this modern Stella McCartney strapless number, (similar to our CELINE gown), worn by Taraji.P.Henson.

METALLIC WONDER

SEQUINS SEQUINS SEQUINS!! We've always been a fan, so if your'e a bride wanting to channel the subtle sparkle of Alicia Vikander's Louis Vuitton dress, might we suggest our white sequin BROOKLYN gown.
